Psychotherapy
I provide psychotherapy online through a private, convenient and efficient secure video platform.
I incorporate a variety of approaches in my work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Yoga Therapy.
Believe it or not, I knew I wanted to be a therapist when I was 11 years old! Doing this work is my passion and calling in life. This drives my therapy approach which blends a combination of evidence-based treatments and relational work. My clients most often tell me that therapy with me feels respectful, supportive, and emotionally safe, even when I challenge them to break old mental habits and unhealthy patterns. They like that they can relate to me not only as an individual, but also as a coach (those CBT skills I teach!) and cheerleader (my positive psychology background).
I love sharing new skills and resources with my clients (hence those books I’ve written). Feel free to check out my Resources section for free handouts that I use regularly with my clients. Therapy with me also often includes a laugh or two as I do wholeheartedly believe that laughter is one of the most potent medicines of all!
Services are offered online to clients in Oregon, California, Arizona and any PSYPACT state (see participating states).

Insurance
While we do not participate in any insurance networks, we provide the paperwork you need to get reimbursement from your insurance company.
Please note that while Dr. Bocci used to be paneled with several insurance companies, she made the careful decision not to be a provider for any managed care programs for a number of reasons. Being a paneled provider would mean that she would be employed by the insurance company instead of working directly (and privately) for you. This leads to several major clinical benefits including greater confidentiality and insurance companies not dictating the course, nature, and length of treatment. Additionally, research has indicated how managed care negatively impacts treatment. Read More.
